About
Back in the days when porn streaming was just a myth and everyone befriended a legal-aged teenager to encourage them to buy magazines such as Playboy, Penthouse, and comics made by erotic local artists, Penthouse, as mentioned, was a prominent brand. If you don’t know who or what Penthouse is, then I’m not sure which planet you come from.
Both Playboy (with its Playboy Plus online service) as well as Penthouse have transitioned well into the digital age. While some may argue the online-born streaming services are faring better in terms of risk-taking and using new ideas, Playboy and Penthouse knew how to do it right in the preceding years. This is the reason why I am subscribed to Penthouse.
Their service is a bit expensive for many people at $50 a month ($25 if you can find a huge discounted coupon offer somewhere), but this is understandable. You’re going to avail the service of one of the world’s pioneers in pornography. However, if you’re just testing the waters, Penthouse is quite generous; they allow free registration. Upon doing so, you have free access to your movies, galleries, and other media on your devices.
The website is simple and easy to use. You’ll quickly notice the “Pets” tab. If you’ve been using other porn sites, this is the “Top Models” tab or menu item. The difference is they’re exclusive only to Penthouse, and the brand, having an eye for all things beautiful, guarantees what you pay for does not go to waste.
However, Penthouse still has their usual “Models” tab. You can say these are the Class-B types, although they’re as pretty as those on the Pets page. I believe Penthouse banks on their “Pets” as the standards they have for beauty, erotica, and of course, pretty ladies.
Unlike other new-age porn services, Penthouse (and also Playboy Plus) gives you full access to their Magazine selections. The website has an online viewer where you use your browser to read. However, some newer magazines are unavailable for free viewing, so you’ll need to pay or order an offline magazine version delivered straight to your door.
As for the content, Penthouse’s videos are mostly vanilla sex. No hardcore stuff here. However, you must give the brand credit; its concentration has always been vanilla, glamour, and erotica. It wasn’t about how you fantasized about your stepmom or how your friend loves your mom and gets to do her when you’re not around. This might be disappointing for some. For the record, their 3D porn gallery and videos, while bizarre for Penthouse to have, is satisfying. You can see some POV videos and well-made 3D sex, which is surprising.
There’s really loads of content in this website. The nude models are amazing. The sex acts are hardcore, and if you’re bored, you can just sit down and read their magazines online for a fee. You also get daily updates, HQ vids, and really good XXX content. It’s something you’d expect from a long-time veteran and pioneer of the adult industry.
Pros
Lots of erotic content. Well-made photoshoots and videos. Live chat with exclusive models. “Pets” are really attractive, but you see other models so that’s a plus. You can view the entire digital Penthouse catalogue (useful when the porn has begun to bore you). Great site design, navigation, and content updates are consistent.
Cons
It’s not perfect. Its content is only accessible if you register a free account. The magazines are not available in full unless you want to buy their digital and physical copies at the same time. Mostly vanilla and softcore porn and no hardcore stuff — which can put off some subscribers. A little too expensive but understandably so. Live chat is not as intricate or fun as other modern sites. Lack of bonus websites and other interesting features available from new-age porn streaming services. Truly not for everyone.
